Fernand builds a customer support tool that prioritizes a calm, snappy, and intentionally opinionated user experience rather than dense dashboards, always-on live chats, or chatbots that customers typically dislike.
The company is run by two technical founders—Antoine (product designer) and Cyril (engineer)—who iterate directly on the product using customer feedback to shape improvements.
Work is fully remote and async-first, with the founders based in Germany and France.
Fernand follows a conservative, revenue-driven hiring philosophy: new hires are funded from current revenue rather than relying on venture capital. The founders prefer to grow reasonably and only spend what they can to avoid the risks associated with rapid VC-driven expansion.
