Overview

Calm Companies helps people discover companies with sustainable work cultures, browse job openings, and receive curated newsletters. By accessing or using the website, newsletters, or related services (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service.

Eligibility and subscription terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to use paid features. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
• Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details; Stripe handles the payment flow.
• Subscription terms, renewal rules, and receipts are provided during checkout and in the Stripe billing portal.
• Gift subscriptions are charged once and then automatically canceled to avoid renewal.

What paid subscriptions are for

Calm Companies is a paid curation product. The goal of a subscription is to help you save time each week by surfacing a smaller, more useful set of job opportunities from companies that aim for sustainable work cultures, instead of requiring you to search across many job boards yourself.

We aim to improve signal over noise and help subscribers spend fewer hours on repetitive job searching. However, we do not guarantee any specific outcome, including interview requests, offers, employment, or a particular amount of time saved.

Newsletters and communications

You can subscribe to weekly job digests and other announcements. Unsubscribe links are included in every newsletter. If you contact us, we may respond by email.

Job listings and company information

Job openings and company profiles may reference information from public sources or company-provided materials. We do not guarantee that listings are current, accurate, or complete, and we are not responsible for third-party hiring decisions.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the Service or attempt to access it unlawfully.
• Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute content in a way that violates our rights or the rights of others.
• Do not interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the Service.

Intellectual property

The Service, including text, design, logos, and software, is owned by Calm Companies or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service only as permitted by these terms.

Third-party services

We use third-party services such as Stripe for payments, Datafast for analytics, and Sentry for error monitoring. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if it is necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calm Companies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill resulting from use of the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
