Paperbell is a small, efficient SaaS team. They deploy code multiple times per week, focusing on fast shipping and high-impact features. Communication is async and concise, with no meetings, daily standups, or recurring check-ins; team members post short written updates.
The company is async-first and meeting-free, prioritizing quiet, focused work without chatter or Zoom fatigue. Team logs off after shipping quality product. Founders have run 100% remote companies since 2014, providing tools for excellent work while eliminating busy work.
Paperbell powers online coaching businesses, launched in 2020, doubling MRR yearly with thousands of paying customers. Coaches use it for business management.
They seek candidates comfortable in small, fast SaaS teams, with experience project managing SaaS products and discussing tech debt. Must be fluent in English, based in European time zones.
Core requirements include GitHub proficiency for issues, PRs, and comments; bug replication and prioritization; pragmatic scoping to keep features lean; organization to unblock dev/design; light QA testing; and thriving in async, written communication without meetings.
Bonuses include running a Rails project locally or SQL/Rails console data analysis, but not required. They are an equal-opportunity employer committed to inclusion.
